ABOUT ME
Welcome, I am Elena, a qualified acupuncturist in pain management, cosmetic acupuncture, cupping therapy and Moxibustion with the aim of completing my Doctorate in Oriental Medicine. Whilst working as a pharmacy assistant I realised there are holistic alternatives to Western medicines that could improve and maintain people’s health.
I have a bachelor’s degree in English language and literature and am fluent in both, English and Romanian which enables me to communicate with a variety of patients.
I am a member of the Acupuncture Society and I comply with the society’s code of ethics and safe practice.


Home Visits
Home visits are provided throughout Milton Keynes area from the comfort and safety of your own home.
⦁ At home acupuncture eliminates commuting and waiting times.
⦁ People with severe pain or migraines may have difficulty with driving, walking, or finding transportation to an outside clinic.
Home visits – Initial Acupuncture Consultation and Treatment (up to 60 minutes) – from £50.00
Acupuncture treatment
An initial acupuncture session usually lasts between 20 minutes to 1 hour and involves an assessment of your general health, medical history and a physical examination, followed by insertion of the acupuncture needles. Since it can take a few sessions for you to see improvements, a course of acupuncture is usually recommended.
Acupuncture can help with:
- Any pains
- Headaches, Migraines
- Back pain
- Stiff neck
- Frozen shoulder
- Sciatica
- Tennis elbow
- Arthritis
- And more

Acupuncture is not usually advised for people with:
- Bleeding disorders such as haemophilia or if you are are taking any medicines such as blood thinners (anticoagulants)
- Anyone with a cardiac pacemaker, infusion pump, or other electrical devices
- Anyone with a metal allergy or an infection where needles may be inserted
- Pregnant women should always talk with their GP or health care provider before having acupuncture as certain acupuncture points can not be used during pregnancy.
Acupuncture treatment from – £35 (follow up treatment up to 40 min)

Cosmetic Acupuncture
The same as traditional acupuncture, thin needles are inserted into different areas of the skin with the aim of increasing the blood flow in the area, therefore promoting the collagen production.
Cosmetic Acupuncture from – £80 or Facial Skin Care only -without acupuncture from – £50

Moxibustion-from £35
Ai Ye herb or commonly known as mugwort is lit up on a slice of ginger and placed on a certain area with the purpose of increasing the heat in that particular point where cold or damp has accumulated. The heat from the herb along with the properties of the ginger penetrates the skin and activates the channel to stimulate circulation and improve the flow of Qi .

Cupping from - £40
Cupping is an alternative therapy that involves suctioning the skin with glass cups under the naked flame. This causes the tissue underneath the cup to be drawn up and swell increasing the blood flow, removing wind and cold from the affected area and facilitating healing.
